The new service centre – built at the cost of over RM 1.5 million – is in line with Scania Malaysia’s network expansion to serve Scania customers better. The centre features a fully-equipped repair and service area with 4 bays to accommodate both trucks and buses; the latest in diagnostic equipment and Scania specialist tools; spare parts centre; and adequate parking.
Manned by a qualified Scania technician and well-trained mechanics, the centre is also on-line with Scania’s regional head office in Shah Alam, Selangor to ensure efficient support and even better customer service quality.
“The new Scania Bintulu Service Centre marks yet another milestone for Scania (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd,” said Mr Peter Sjöblom, the Managing Director for Scania (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. “With this new service centre, we are fulfilling our promise to be closer to our customers, and providing them with the best after sales service support that all Scania owners enjoy around the world,” he added.
“Scania has always put after-sales as a priority for our customers. We at Scania are extremely pleased to be able to offer customers a total combination of high quality trucks and buses, combined with excellent after-sales service for our customers in Sarawak with the official opening of this new service centre in Bintulu,” added Mr Sjöblom.
